****100% Support for Oborevwori in 2027

DELTA: The Arewa Community in Warri has officially endorsed Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, as their candidate for the 2027 governorship election, citing his developmental strides in their area.
Speaking with journalists in Warri, the Etsu-Nupe of Warri, HRH Alhaji Zuberu Mohammed Tajudeen, said the endorsement was a unanimous decision by the Arewa people, who are impressed by the governor’s efforts in improving their community.
“With just the installation of streetlights in the Hausa Quarters, we have already adopted His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori as our candidate for the 2027 election,” Alhaji Tajudeen stated.
The Arewa leader praised Governor Oborevwori for awarding contracts to reconstruct major roads in the Hausa Quarters, including the College of Commerce and Mosque roads. He noted that several appeals to government intervention agencies like the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) over the past 17 years had yielded no results until the governor stepped in.
“After many years of writing to NDDC and other agencies to help fix our roads, Governor Oborevwori came this year and awarded the road contracts. Everyone in the community, including the blind and beggars, is happy and praying for him. No matter the party affiliation -APC or any other party-we have all agreed to support him,” Alhaji Tajudeen said.
The community leader also commended the governor for improving electricity in the area, noting that they now enjoy uninterrupted power supply.
“Look at the light in our area. It was brought around 10 p.m. on Thursday, January 2, and it’s still on this morning. This is possible because of Governor Oborevwori’s efforts. He has done well for the Arewa people,” he said.
Alhaji Tajudeen assured the governor of the Arewa community’s full support in the forthcoming election, promising that they will deliver 100% of their votes.
“For us in the Arewa Community, we have prayed for him. The good work he did last year, God will help him continue this year. That work will lead him to greater success. We are fully behind him,” he declared.
He also prayed for God’s continued blessings on Governor Oborevwori, expressing hope that the governor’s achievements will earn him another term in office.
