Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s quest to return to office in 2027 has received a massive boost after the he Member representing Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt Hon (Rev) Francis Ejiroghene Waive, endorsed him and called on the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State to adopt Governor as the party’s sole candidate for the 2027 gubernatorial elections.
The federal lawmaker who spoke on Tuesday while addressing journalist praised the governor for his development efforts since succeeding former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.
Waive meanwhile emphasised the importance of unity within the state chapter of the APC, which has been plagued by internal divisions.
He stressed that adopting Governor Oborevwori as the APC’s candidate will not only bring peace to the party but also secure a decisive victory for the APC in the upcoming elections
