Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle involving four commissioners, with immediate effect.
The reshuffle, announced in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr. Kingsley Eze Emu, affects the Ministries of Energy, Physical Planning and Urban Renewal, Primary Education, and Secondary Education.
According to the statement, Engr. Michael Ifeanyi Anoka has been redeployed from the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Renewal to the Ministry of Energy.
Hon. Sunday Tataobuzogwu was moved from the Ministry of Energy to the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Renewal.
Also affected in the reshuffle, Mrs. Rose Ezewu was redeployed from the Ministry of Secondary Education to the Ministry of Primary Education, while Dr. Kingsley Ashibuogwu was moved from the Ministry of Primary Education to the Ministry of Secondary Education.
The SSG stated that the redeployment of the commissioners takes immediate effect.
Meanwhile, Governor Oborevwori has also approved the nomination of three persons into the Governing Council of the Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka.
Those nominated are Rt. Hon. Festus Ovie Agas, Rt. Hon. Frank Enekorogha, and Mr. Charles Ajuyah (SAN).
The statement added that the inauguration of the newly appointed Governing Council members would be announced in due course.
