DELTA: The political dynamics of Delta North are taking a new turn as Senator Ned Nwoko, a prominent figure in the region, solidifies his position within the All Progressives Congress (APC).
His recent visit to Agbor drew a massive crowd of party loyalists and stakeholders, signaling a shift in the region’s political structure.
Nwoko’s defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the APC has triggered political realignments, strengthening the party’s grassroots mobilization. Addressing party faithful, the senator said his decision was driven by his commitment to the development of Delta North and the need for stronger federal representation.
“My decision to join the APC is based on my unwavering resolve to bring real development to Delta North. We need a united front that will attract the necessary resources and opportunities for our people,” Nwoko stated.
The gathering was attended by APC leaders, traditional rulers, and community stakeholders, who discussed critical issues such as infrastructure, education, and economic empowerment.
Party members expressed optimism that Nwoko’s influence would enhance APC’s prospects in the region, with many pledging their support to consolidate his political base.
With expectations running high, political analysts see Nwoko’s move as a potential game-changer, positioning the APC for greater impact in Delta North ahead of future elections.
