Tolu and Ogbu makes Super Eagles 23 man list for World Cup Qualifiers..

Three new players — Tolu Arokodare, Igoh Ogbu, Papa Mustapha — were handed their first-ever Super Eagles call ups as Super Eagles head coach, released a 23-player final squad for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe later this month.

The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) announced the list in a statement on Tuesday.

The most prominent name missing in the trimmed list is Ahmed Musa, the Super Eagles captain. The list contains many familiar faces with Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, Victor Boniface and Moses Simon leading the attack options.

Full squad list:

Goalkeepers: Amas Obasogie, Kayode Bankole, Stanley Nwabali.

Defenders: Bright Osayi-Samuel, Bruno Onyemaechi, Calvin Bassey, Ola Aina, Igoh Ogbu, William Troost-Ekong.

Midfielders: Alex Iwobi, Alhassan Yusuf, Joe Aribo, Papa Daniel Mustapha, Raphael Onyedika, Wilfred Ndidi.

Forwards: Ademola Lookman, Moses Simon, Nathan Tella, Sadiq Umar, Samuel Chukwueze, Tolu Arokodare, Victor Boniface, Victor Osimhen.
