Delta state Govt Appoints Dr Oseji new HoS…

The Delta state government has announced the appointment of Dr. [Mrs.] Mininim J. Oseji as the new Head of Service, Delta State.

This according to a statement signed by the commissioner of information, Charles Aniagwu and sent to newsmen on Monday.

Dr. Mininim Oseji was until her appointment the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Asaba. She is a Consultant Public Health and Community Physician, Medical Director of Berachah Community Clinic, Asaba, Part-time Consultant with Federal Medical Centre, Asaba.

GOVERNMENT SPECIAL ANNOUNCMENT
APPOINTMENT OF DR. [MRS.] MININIM J. OSEJI AS NEW HEAD OF SERVICE, DELTA STATE.

It is hereby announced for the information of the general public that His Excellency, RT. Hon. [Elder] Sheriff Oborevwori has approved the appointment of Dr. [Mrs.] Mininim J. Oseji as the new Head of Service, Delta State.
2. Dr. Mininim Oseji was until her appointment the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Asaba. She is a Consultant Public Health and Community Physician, Medical Director of Berachah Community Clinic, Asaba, Part-time Consultant with Federal Medical Centre, Asaba, the Executive Director of Public Health Impact Research Centre (a research based NGO she founded in 2002) and a Past National President of the Medical Women’s Association of Nigeria (MWAN).
3. She has been a member of the Medical Women’s International Association (MWIA) since 1998 and currently the Chair of the MWIA Violence Against Women and Girls Special Interest Group as well as a member of the International AIDS Society (IAS) since 2008. She is a member of the Hospital Visitation Team of the Christian Women Fellowship International of Church of God Mission Incorporated and a reviewer of the Journal of the Medical Women’s Association of Nigeria (J-MWAN).
4. Dr. Oseji who would be sworn in on Monday, March 31, 2025, succeeds Mr. Reginald Bayoko who will be retiring on March 29, 2025 after a meritorious service.
