The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially announced a rescheduling of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), now set to begin on Thursday, April 24, a day earlier than initially planned.
In a statement released on Saturday, JAMB’s Head of Public Affairs and Protocol, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, disclosed that the adjustment was made to accommodate essential operational needs involving both the Board and its partner agencies.
“As part of final preparations for the examination, all registered candidates are directed to print their Examination Notification Slips, which contain critical details such as the exam date, time, and designated centre,” the statement read.
Notification Slip Printing Begins Today — April 19
Candidates are strongly encouraged to print their slips starting Saturday, April 19, 2025, in order to allow sufficient time to familiarize themselves with their examination venues and avoid last-minute challenges.
“This early preparation will help ensure a seamless experience on the day of the examination,” JAMB advised.

Final Reminders
JAMB emphasized the importance of candidates visiting their examination centres at least one to two days prior to their scheduled date. This will allow for proper orientation and help prevent delays or complications on the exam day.

Candidates are urged to remain calm, stay informed via official JAMB channels, and prepare adequately for the examination.
