Per videos making the rounds online,the people of Kantu Community in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State have raised the alarm over a reported attack on the community by a group of individuals allegedly loyal to Chief Ekpemupolo aka Tompolo.
The assailants, purportedly from Oporoza, were said to have kidnapped the oldest man in the community, Pa Edwin Atikan (Olare-Aja), along with some youths, including Joseph Adidi (Kantu Chief Priest), Arthur Eyiangho, Godwin Eyiangho, and Mr. Oyibo Odugba.
In a video circulating online, members of the community said the attackers also assaulted a young woman while stripping old women naked.
In one of the videos obtained by Prime Gossip, the narrator also claimed that youths who attempted to protect the women were beaten up.
They called on the Delta State Government and the Federal Government to intervene and put a stop to the incessant attacks.
