The President of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Musiliu Akinsanya, widely known as MC Oluomo, has responded to the wave of ridicule following his mispronunciation of “kudos” as “kundusi.”
Speaking in a viral video on Tuesday while addressing union delegates, Akinsanya defended himself, saying he is not formally educated and may struggle with English expression.
However, he emphasized that he invested heavily in his children’s education, noting that they are now citizens of the United States and the United Kingdom.
The controversy began after Akinsanya mistakenly said “kundusi” instead of “kudos” while praising the achievements of union members in the Federal Capital Territory.
