Announcement to come amid ongoing global trade tensions
Former U.S. President Donald Trump is set to unveil details of a new trade agreement between the United States and the United Kingdom at 10 a.m. Eastern Time today. The announcement, to be made from the Oval Office, will include UK officials and follows weeks of uncertainty after the Trump administration imposed higher tariffs on several international trading partners.
The trade deal framework is expected to focus on reducing barriers, expanding market access, and reinforcing economic ties between the two countries.
