Senate President Godswill Akpabio says the people of Akwa Ibom have unanimously endorsed President Bola Tinubu, Governor Umo Eno, and himself as sole candidates for the 2027 elections.
Speaking during the second phase of his constituency empowerment programme in Akwa Ibom North-West, Akpabio praised Governor Eno’s leadership, noting that peace and development in the state are a result of strong collaboration with the Presidency.
A voice vote at the event confirmed the public endorsement of the trio. Akpabio also distributed over ₦2 billion worth of empowerment items—including vehicles, tricycles, fridges, sewing machines, cash grants, and scholarships—to more than 3,000 beneficiaries across the state.
