Nollywood actor Yul Edochie and his second wife, Judy Austin, are expecting their third child together, marking another chapter in their highly publicized and controversial union.
Yul took to Instagram on Thursday to share a video of himself and Judy in a hospital labour ward, captioned: “The D-Day is here… The baby is coming.” The couple has nicknamed the baby “Baby Trump”—a nod to Yul’s playful persona online.
This comes months after Yul announced Judy’s pregnancy in February 2025, where he posted a video of her flaunting her baby bump while singing. In typical flamboyant style, Yul likened himself to football icon Cristiano Ronaldo, calling himself “CR7” and “Baddest Striker,” boasting of fatherhood prowess with the caption: “2 down, 1 loading. 5 more to go.”
However, this joyful announcement unfolds against a turbulent personal backdrop. Yul is currently embroiled in a divorce case with his first wife, May Edochie, who filed for separation in August 2023. Her legal team has challenged the validity of Yul’s marriage to Judy, labeling it “adulterous and void” under Nigerian law.
Despite the legal and moral scrutiny, Yul and Judy have continued to share their family journey openly on social media, embracing their growing brood with enthusiasm. The actor’s unconventional path continues to stir debate, blending celebrity culture, tradition, and law in the public eye.
