ACT Di Oyibo FC Cleared, Suspension Lifted – NLO

The Nigeria Nationwide League One (NLO) has officially cleared ACT Di Oyibo Football Club of all allegations related to match-fixing and lifted its suspension, allowing the club to immediately resume participation in all scheduled league fixtures and football-related activities.

This was contained in a letter dated July 11, 2025, and addressed to the Lagos State Football Association, Surulere, Lagos State, with attention to ACT Di Oyibo Football Club. The letter, signed by the Chief Operating Officer of the NLO, Olushola Ogunnowo, followed a thorough review and investigation of the club’s alleged involvement in a compromised football match.

“The League has officially lifted the suspension previously imposed on your club and management team regarding the alleged football match compromise,” the letter stated.

It added that ACT Di Oyibo Football Club had been cleared of all allegations concerning match integrity issues and is now authorized to return to active competition without restrictions.

“Consequently, ACT Di Oyibo Football Club is now authorized to resume its participation in all scheduled league fixtures and related football activities effective immediately,” the letter confirmed.

The NLO Secretariat also commended the club’s cooperation during the investigation process and expressed optimism about the club’s continued positive contribution to Nigerian football.

“We appreciate your cooperation during this process and look forward to your continued positive contribution to the league and development of football in Nigeria,” the NLO stated.

The decision restores ACT Di Oyibo FC’s standing in the league and reaffirms its commitment to fair play, integrity, and the ongoing development of grassroots football in the country.
