Military, Dignitaries Grace Day 4 of Olu of Warri’s Coronation Anniversary

WARRI— The fourth-anniversary celebration of the Olu of Warri, His Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III, CFR continued on Wednesday with a day dedication to paying homage, known as Ugẹ Ọyọ-Ẹkoró. The event was a testament to the monarch’s widespread influence, drawing top military and government dignitaries from across the country.

The ceremony was marked by a strong presence from Nigeria’s security forces, with representatives from the Nigerian Army, Navy, Air Force, and the Customs Service in attendance. This show of solidarity underscored the strategic importance of the Warri Kingdom and the Olu’s role in promoting peace and

stability in the Niger Delta region.

The day’s events, which are part of a week-long celebration, not only commemorated the king’s reign but also served to showcase the rich and vibrant culture of the Itsekiri people.
