An Ohio couple, Scierra Blair and José Ervin Jr., who were born on the same day, August 18th, welcomed a set of twins on their shared birthday, making the entire family a party of four with the exact same date of birth.

The couple’s twins, a boy and a girl, were not due until later in the month, but Scierra went into labor on August 17th. With a few hours left before midnight, she and her fiancé decided to try and hold off so the babies could share their birthday with them.
Their son, José Ervin III, was born at 12:35 a.m. on August 18th, followed just one minute later by their daughter, A-ria Lannette Ervin.
Doctors at Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital noted that this is an extremely rare event. The probability of a child sharing a birthday with both parents is roughly 1 in 133,000, with the odds of having twins on the same birthday being even more astronomically high.
