The Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE), has announced the commencement of its 2025/2026 supplementary Post-UTME screening exercise, inviting eligible candidates to apply for admission into a range of newly introduced undergraduate programmes.
The university said the supplementary exercise is part of its broader plan to expand academic offerings, meet rising manpower demands, and deliver industry-driven education. According to the management, the new programmes cut across three colleges.
In the College of Science, FUPRE has introduced B.Sc. degrees in Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Petroleum Chemistry. The College of Petroleum Administration and Management (CPAM) will now offer degrees in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Procurement Management, Petroleum Information Management, and Entrepreneurship. Similarly, the College of Maritime and Offshore Studies has begun running B.Sc. programmes in Maritime Transport and Logistics, as well as Maritime Economics and Finance.
To qualify, candidates must have scored at least 170 in the 2025 UTME, missed the earlier Post-UTME screening at FUPRE, and must not already have admission offers elsewhere.
They are also expected to meet the UTME and O’Level subject requirements for their chosen courses.
The screening fee has been fixed at ₦2,000. Registration closes on Sunday, 14th September 2025, while the screening exercise will hold from Monday, 15th to Tuesday, 16th September 2025, at the FUPRE Ultra-Modern ICT Centre, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
Interested candidates are to apply online via https://utme.fupre.edu.ng, where they are required to complete the registration form, upload a passport photograph and relevant credentials, and print out a confirmation slip.
FUPRE, Africa’s first petroleum university, said it remains committed to providing accredited programmes with hands-on training and strong industry links, designed to give graduates excellent career opportunities in science, oil and gas, maritime, and management sectors.
