DELTA: Popular Nigerian entertainers, Oritsefemi, and Duncan Mighty, have commended the renewed vibrancy in Warri’s nightlife scene, following a high-profile event in the city.
Speaking at the grand opening of Serial 61X Underground Club & Restaurant in Ugbolokposo, Uvwie Local Government Area, Oritsefemi expressed optimism about the future of entertainment in Delta State, stating, “Warri nightlife is coming back. This is the time for Deltans to invest and make the most of these opportunities.”
Duncan Mighty also praised the organizer, Taire, for revitalizing Warri’s festive season activities. He added, “This initiative is not just about entertainment but about creating opportunities that attract visitors and boost local businesses.”
The event, which showcased vibrant performances and entertainment, has been lauded as a key step toward restoring Warri’s reputation as a cultural and nightlife hub.
On his part, The Chief Executive Officer of Serial 61X, Marvelous Taire, commended Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for his strides in road construction, security, and creating an enabling environment for businesses to thrive.
He disclosed this while Speaking at the grand opening of Serial 61X Underground Club & Restaurant in Ugbolokposo, Uvwie Local Government Area.
Taire declared the community Uvwie, Warri and environs safe for business, attributing it to the governor’s security initiatives.
“Our governor is really trying. You can see what he is doing with Julius Berger in road construction and flyovers. Security operatives are patrolling, and peace has returned to Ugbolokposo, making it safe for business,” Taire told journalists.
He added that the newly launched club and restaurant aim to revive Warri’s nightlife. “We are trying to bring nightlife back. Serial 61X offers continental dishes, a designer boutique, and an exotic drinking bar, among other services. It’s something unique that Deltans will enjoy,” he said.
Taire also used the opportunity to encourage young people to shun drug abuse and seek divine guidance in their endeavors.
Popular Nigerian musicians, performing actist and MC Mickey Runthings, Oritsefemi, Duncan Mighty and others who graced the event, lauded the initiative. .
