Big Brother Naija fans were left stunned on Thursday after housemate Faith was abruptly disqualified from the reality show, a decision his management team claims was made “without any prior public warning or even a strike.”
Faith’s team released an official statement expressing their deep distress over the nature of his exit, arguing that the decision defied the show’s customary procedure of cautioning housemates before a disqualification.
“This decision has left us deeply distraught, especially as it came without any prior public warning or even a strike, as is customary with other housemates to at least caution them. All his work and efforts gone without a warning,” the statement read.
The team leveraged the statement to rally his supporters, known as the FAITHFULS, thanking them for looking “beyond Faith’s flaws and embraced the amazing human he is.” They praised the 25-year-old for his hard work and resilience throughout the nine weeks he spent in the house.
Addressing concerns about the former housemate’s well-being, the team assured fans: “As for Faith, we will like to assure you that he is now with us and we will protect him at all cost… Faith is a happy child and we will ensure he rises from this. Does he need self evaluation? Yes he does, like every flawed human.”
The statement concluded on a determined note, affirming that for Faith, the disqualification is “only the beginning of greatness.”
