DELTA STATE—Senator Ned Nwoko has announced the completion and commissioning of a modern mini stadium in Issele-Uku, Delta North Senatorial District, hailing the project as a testament to the community’s collective progress and a tool for youth empowerment.

Taking to his social media handle to make the announcement, the Senator highlighted the project’s features and its core mission of uplifting the local community.

According to Senator Nwoko, the facility was deliberately conceived “to inspire our youths, promote healthy competition, and strengthen community spirit.”

The newly completed stadium boasts several key features designed to provide a conducive and modern environment for sports and recreation:

  • Pavilions situated on both sides to accommodate spectators and officials.
  • Well-equipped dressing rooms to cater to athletes’ needs.

Senator Nwoko stressed that for him, every project must be defined by its impact and its ability to empower citizens.

“For me, every project is about impact, about giving our people access to facilities that uplift, empower, and unite,” he wrote. He expressed confidence that the stadium would play a vital role in “nurturing the next generation of athletes and leaders who will make Delta North proud.”

He concluded his statement by reaffirming his commitment to grassroots development, noting that the “journey of transformation continues, one community at a time.”
