Following the attack on peaceful Itsekiri Protesters by Alleged Ijaw Youths,the Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Comrade Agbateyiniro Weyinmi Isaac, has announced an indefinite ban on all forms of rallies and protests within the LGA.
The declaration was made on Monday, May 19, following a security meeting held at the Warri South Council Main Secretariat.
As the Chief Security Officer of the local government, Comrade Agbateyiniro emphasized that any individual or group planning to organize protests or rallies must obtain prior approval from the appropriate authorities.
He further assured law-abiding residents that his administration remains committed to creating a conducive environment for legitimate businesses to operate and thrive in Warri South.
