The opposition coalition led by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has denied reports that it has adopted the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as its platform for the 2027 general elections.
In a statement released Thursday in Abuja, interim spokesperson Salihu Lukman dismissed the claims as false, clarifying that no party has been chosen and no Head of Secretariat appointed.
He urged the public to disregard what he described as planted, misleading reports aimed at creating division within the coalition.
Lukman confirmed that consultations among coalition leaders are ongoing and final decisions will be announced formally in due course.
