As part in continuation of his campaign to develop coastal communities in Iwere Kingdom, the Olu of Warri has gifted Oboghoro community,in Warri North LGA of Delta state Five thousand Dollars ($5000) as a way of encouraging their efforts to develop the community.
The Olu who spoke during the second day of the ongoing 2024 Oboghoro Festival, described their efforts highly commendable.
Earlier the monarch presented awards to twelve individuals for their contributions towards sand filling the community.
Recall, the Olu had recently admonished Itsekiri sons and daughters to prioritize development of the ancestral communities.
