DELTA: Senator Ede Dafinone, representing Delta Central Senatorial District, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, for the significant progress on the Benin-Sapele-Effurun Expressway.
Dafinone, who had previously written to the minister regarding the road’s poor state, expressed satisfaction that his advocacy and continuous engagement had yielded positive results, easing the burden on commuters and businesses along the corridor.
He also lauded the recent flag-off of the Benin-Asaba Expressway reconstruction, describing it as further proof of the administration’s commitment to revitalizing Nigeria’s road infrastructure.
“The commitment of the Tinubu administration to infrastructural renewal is evident in the steady progress on key roads that have been in deplorable condition for years,”.
“The ongoing work reflects the president’s vision for a stronger and better-connected Nigeria.”
The senator praised Minister Umahi’s hands-on approach, stating that the Ministry of Works’ proactive steps ensure timely and quality execution of federal road projects. “The minister’s dedication aligns with the broader goal of fostering economic growth through improved road networks,” he noted.
Dafinone urged Niger Deltans and Nigerians to support the administration as it works to reposition the economy and enhance critical infrastructure. He reaffirmed his commitment to advocating for more federal projects in Delta Central and across the Niger Delta.
