Nigerian music star Davido has once again captured the hearts of fans with a touching moment involving his mother-in-law and veteran musician Bright Chimezie.
In a viral video, Davido is seen hosting Bright Chimezie at his Lagos home. During the visit, he excitedly called Chioma’s mother, referring to her affectionately as “mummy.” He introduced her to Chimezie via video call, creating a warm and cheerful exchange.
Chioma’s mother, speaking in Igbo, referred to the veteran singer as her “brother” and revealed she’s from Abia State. Their lively conversation was filled with warmth and familiarity, with Chimezie responding joyfully.
Davido also spoke to her about his song “With You” featuring Omah Lay and shared that Bright Chimezie enjoyed it. He added that the music video for the track would be released soon.
