The Federal Government is currently in talks with the leadership of the National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) at the Ministry of Labour and Employment headquarters in Abuja.
The meeting, convened by the Minister of Labour and Employment, Muhammad Maigari Dingyadi, is aimed at addressing issues surrounding the union’s ongoing strike.
Although scheduled for 10 a.m., the NUPENG delegation arrived at about 5:05 p.m.
Also present at the meeting are representatives of the Nigeria Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA), the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), and MRS Holdings Limited.
