Motorists and transporters are set to experience huge relief as the Delta state government through Warri Uvwie and Environs Development Agency WUEDA has awarded contract for the repair and maintenance of Refinery road by Ekpan police station and Ekpan link road down to Edjeba junction in Uvwie LGA.
The maintenance and asphalt overlay contract was awarded to Levant Construction Company under the supervision of Warri/Uvwie and Environs Special Area Development Agency, (WUEDA).
The Director General of the Agency, Hon. Prince Godwin Ejinyere while handing over the contract to Levant affirmed that the Governor of the State , Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori wants the best for Deltans and urged the contractor to round up the project before December 30th,2024.
In his response, the Youth President of the area, Mr. Victor Edavwe expressed appreciation to the DG and assured him of their commitment to fully support the contractor for the work to be done timely as expected by the Governor.
