Rumours regarding the deteriorating health of former APC National Chairman and ex-Governor of Kano State, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, have been firmly denied by both his family and Chief of Staff.
In separate statements on Monday July 21st, 2025, Ganduje’s close associates described the reports as false, malicious, and intended to cause unnecessary panic. His Chief of Staff confirmed that the former governor is in good health and going about his routine activities without issue.
“This is nothing but a desperate attempt to spread fear and misinformation,” a family source stated. “Dr. Ganduje is hale and hearty. He is currently at home and attending to personal matters.”
The family urged the public to disregard the unfounded reports and called on media outlets to verify facts before spreading such sensitive claims.
