Actor Regina Daniels’ brother, Sammy, has been granted bail by a Dutse Magistrate Court after spending several days in detention.
Sammy, who was earlier remanded at the Keffi Prison before being transferred to Suleja Prison, was released on Monday, November 10, 2025, after meeting his bail conditions reportedly set at ₦5 million.
His elder brother, who goes by the handle @Sweezzy1 on Instagram, confirmed the development in a post celebrating the release.
“Sammy, you are a great man. Bail has been granted! Nigerians, thank you,” he wrote.
It was earlier reported that Sammy was arrested in Lagos about a week ago allegedly on the orders of Senator Ned Nwoko, following tensions surrounding the senator’s reported marital dispute with his actress wife, Regina Daniels.
Details of the charges or conditions attached to his bail were not immediately available as of press time.
Efforts to reach Senator Nwoko’s representatives for comments on the development proved unsuccessful.
