World wrestling legend, Hulk Hogan, has died at the age of 71.

Born Terry Gene Bollea, Hogan passed away on Thursday morning in his Clearwater, Florida, home after reportedly suffering cardiac arrest. According to TMZ, he was wheeled out of his home on a stretcher and taken away in an ambulance.

Emergency responders were said to have arrived at the scene after receiving a distress call. Both paramedics and police officers were spotted outside his residence.

Although the exact cause of death has not been officially confirmed, Hogan’s health had been a concern in recent weeks, with unconfirmed reports claiming he was in a coma and on his deathbed.

His wife, Sky Hogan, had earlier denied the rumours, saying, “His heart is strong,” and added that he was recovering from a neck surgery.

Hulk Hogan rose to fame in the 1980s as one of the biggest stars of Vince McMahon’s World Wrestling Entertainment, formerly known as the World Wrestling Federation. He remained a household name in professional wrestling and entertainment globally.
