Real Madrid has appointed Xabi Alonso as the club’s new head coach. The former Spanish international has signed a deal that will see him at the helm of Los Blancos until June 2028.
The agreement marks the beginning of a new era at the Santiago Bernabéu, as Alonso steps in to replace Carlo Ancelotti.
The transition process is set to begin this week, with Ancelotti receiving a special farewell in recognition of his contributions and successes during his tenure.
