McGregor Unaware of £2M Dublin Pub Fire While on Luxury Yacht Holiday

MMA superstar Conor McGregor was reportedly “blissfully unaware” that his £2 million Dublin pub, The Black Forge Inn, was engulfed in flames early Friday morning, as he was spending quality time with his fiancée Dee Devlin and their four children on a luxury yacht holiday in Sardinia. The incident occurred just hours after the family’s lavish getaway began.

The 37-year-old Irish fighter has recently been embroiled in controversy after being photographed kissing a mystery woman in Fort Lauderdale, leading to questions about his relationship with Dee Devlin, to whom he has been engaged since 2020. However, the couple has seemingly brushed off the criticism, presenting a united front during their holiday. On Thursday, they appeared happy while on the yacht with their children: Conor Jr (8), Croia (6), Rian (4), and Mack (20 months).

McGregor was photographed shirtless, showcasing his muscular, tattooed physique in blue swimming trunks, and later in boxers. He was also seen utilizing gym equipment on the yacht before diving into the sea, with his older sons following suit. Dee Devlin was pictured filming McGregor from the boat, wearing a plunging pink swimsuit with white shorts.

Meanwhile, back in Dublin, footage emerged on Friday morning showing The Black Forge Inn, which McGregor purchased for approximately £2 million in 2020, ablaze. Bright flames and thick plumes of smoke were seen billowing from the entrance. Several firefighters responded to the scene on Drimnagh Road in Crumlin, a southern suburb of the Irish capital, battling the fire just after 3 am. Garda officers were also called and are currently investigating the incident as “criminal damage.”

This is not the first time The Black Forge Inn has been targeted. In 2022, the pub was attacked with petrol bombs just hours after the former UFC world champion had been present.
