ABUJA – The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has announced the disbursement of student loans to beneficiaries at three tertiary institutions across the country. The announcement was made in a recent post on the fund’s official X handle.
According to the post, the disbursements were as follows:
- ₦187,779,387.00 to 3,686 beneficiaries at the Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology, Wudil.
- ₦4,706,700.00 to 104 beneficiaries at the Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi.
- ₦28,937,500.00 to 230 beneficiaries at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.
NELFUND stated that the disbursement “underscores our continued commitment to supporting educational institutions and empowering individuals through targeted funding.” The move is part of the government’s effort to increase access to higher education for students from diverse backgrounds.
