JERUSALEM – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday lauded Donald Trump for the “bold” US strikes on Iranian nuclear sites, declaring the attack a “historic moment” poised to usher in peace across the Middle East.

“Congratulations President Trump. Your bold decision to target Iran’s nuclear facilities with the awesome and righteous might of the United States will change history,” Netanyahu stated in a video address following Trump’s announcement of US bombing raids on three Iranian facilities.
The Israeli leader emphasized that the attack showcased America as “truly unsurpassed,” extending gratitude to Trump for orchestrating a “pivot of history” that he believes will “help lead the Middle East and beyond to a future of prosperity and peace.”
“President Trump and I often say, peace through strength. First comes strength, then comes peace,” Netanyahu remarked. In a separate statement, he confirmed the US attacks were carried out in coordination with Israel, asserting that the pledge to dismantle Iran’s nuclear program had been fulfilled.
Earlier, Trump announced via his social media platform that US warplanes had targeted Iran’s Fordo nuclear enrichment plant, along with the Natanz and Isfahan facilities. This move signals the United States’ direct involvement in the bombing campaign, following days of deliberation by Trump.
The US joining its key ally Israel comes after both nations have exchanged intense, devastating strikes since Israel initiated attacks on June 13, citing Iran’s alleged imminent development of a nuclear weapon—a claim Tehran vehemently denies. Sources
