Nigeria’s Breakthrough Begins With National Recognition – O.O.OBU

By Peter Onyekachukwu

Leader of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star (BCS), Olumba Olumba Obu, has declared that Nigeria’s persistent social, economic and security challenges will only be permanently resolved when the country officially recognizes and accepts him as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Olumba Olumba Obu, who is revered by BCS members as the Soul Spiritual Head of the Universe, made the declaration at a press briefing with journalists in Effurun, Delta State, at the weekend, during activities of the International Divine Vanguard Evangelical Retreat.

According to him, the day Nigeria physically and openly acknowledges his divine authority would mark a historic turning point not only for the country but also for its global standing.

“The day Nigeria recognizes me, Olumba Olumba Obu, that same day America will relocate to Nigeria,” he said.

He further stated that all solutions to Nigeria’s problems are tied to the nation’s willingness to accept him as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, insisting that political leadership alone cannot bring the desired transformation.

Supporting the position of the BCS leader, a representative of the Holy Father and Patriarch Christ Shepherd, CPCS Ogar Osim, said Nigeria’s suffering persists despite abundant natural and human resources because the country has failed to identify and embrace what he described as God’s ordained solution.

Osim, who is also the Managing Director of StarCross Television and Head of BCS Event Management, said the power resident in Olumba Olumba Obu can be likened to that of Jesus Christ, noting that divine intervention, rather than political power, remains the ultimate answer to national challenges.

“Today Nigerians are suffering in the midst of plenty and keep calling on presidents and governors for solutions. Nobody can provide lasting solution except the one God has ordained on earth to save mankind, and that is our Lord, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu,” Osim said.

He explained that many Nigerians ridicule or underestimate the spiritual authority of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu because they are yet to personally experience what BCS members describe as manifestations of divine power.

“Those who believe and worship have seen his works. Our Lord is forgiving, even when people speak against him,” he added.

Osim clarified that the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is not a Pentecostal or orthodox church but a spiritual movement founded on the doctrine of the Trinity—God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

He also shed light on some of the group’s practices, explaining that members wear white garments as a symbol of purity and avoid the killing of animals because all living creatures were created by God and possess life.

“Our white garment represents purity. We do not spill blood, whether of animals or insects, because life is sacred,” he said.

The cleric disclosed that the Brotherhood has spread to many countries of the world and continues to grow steadily, stressing that members are drawn to the movement not by economic hardship but by personal encounters and testimonies of miracles.

“We are not here because we have no food to eat. Many of us are doing well economically, but because of what we have experienced through our Lord,” he said.

Osim cautioned Nigerians not to confuse the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star with other groups bearing similar names, noting that the authentic BCS operates with the same doctrines across all its branches worldwide.

He expressed appreciation to residents of Delta State for their hospitality during the evangelical activities in Warri and surrounding communities, describing Deltans as peaceful, accommodating and receptive to the gospel.

The BCS leadership also used the occasion to invite Nigerians and the international community to the 25th anniversary celebration of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, scheduled to hold from April 13 to 19, 2026, at the BCS World Headquarters, 34 Ambo Street, Calabar, Cross River State.

The anniversary will be celebrated under the theme: “Celebrating the Glory and Power of the Supreme Trinity.”
