ABUJA: In a decisive step aimed at repositioning Nigeria’s oil and gas sector, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) has unveiled a new senior management team under the leadership of its recently appointed Group Chief Executive Officer, Bashir Bayo Ojulari.
The announcement, made on Friday, follows the constitution of the company’s Board of Directors and signals a fresh push for operational efficiency, energy transition, and renewed investor confidence in Nigeria’s state-owned oil giant.
The new team includes Rowland Ewubare as Group Chief Operating Officer; Adedapo Segun as Group Chief Financial Officer; and Olalekan Ogunleye as Executive Vice President for Gas, Power & New Energy — a portfolio key to Nigeria’s drive toward cleaner energy solutions.
Other appointments include Udy Ntia as Executive Vice President Upstream, Mumuni Dangazau for Downstream operations, Sophia Mbakwe for Business Services, and Adesua Dozie as Company Secretary and Chief Legal Officer.
“These appointments are strategic and timely.
