The Olu of Warri Kingdom, Ogiame Atuwatse III, has been recognised as one of the 100 Most Reputable Africans at a prestigious awards ceremony organised by the Global Reputation Forum in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The award was formally presented by the former Deputy President of South Africa, Her Excellency Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka.
This honour coincided with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Olu of Warri and His Majesty King Misuzulu KaZwelithini. The ceremonial signing took place at the KwaKhangelamankengane Royal Palace in KwaNongoma.
Ogiame Atuwatse III, widely regarded as a monarch of dignity and vision, ascended the throne as the 21st Olu of Warri. Since his coronation, he has expressed a commitment to blending the rich heritage of the Itsekiri people with the dynamic needs of the contemporary world.
