WARRI – His Majesty, Ogiame Atuwatse III, CFR, the Olu of Warri, has donated a brand new 2025 Toyota Hiace 13-seater bus to the Ugbarajo Itsekiri Youths (UIY).
The bus was presented to the youth body at the Olu of Warri’s palace on Thursday by Prince Collins Oritsetimeyin Edema, Sole Representative of His Majesty to NNPC/JV Partners.
Prince Edema, represented by Mr Tuoyo Coker, Head of Admin Office of the Sole Representative of the Olu of Warri to NNPCL,said the gesture reflects the monarch’s abiding love and confidence in the capacity of the Itsekiri youth to contribute meaningfully to the progress of the kingdom.
“This generous gift is a testament to His Majesty’s abiding love and confidence in the Itsekiri youth, and it is my hope that you will put it to effective use in advancing your mandate”.
The sole Representative had in a letter on Wednesday congratulated the newly elected executives of the Ugbarajo Itsekiri Youths on their emergence, describing their leadership as a call to responsibility and a noble journey that requires vision, unity, and commitment.
Responding the new UIYA president, Joseph Okotie on behalf of the entire executive thanked the Olu of Warri for the grand gesture and pledged to put it in good use in the interest of the entire Itsekiri Youths.
The vehicle is expected to strengthen the operations of the Ugbarajo Itsekiri Youths and enhance their ability to deliver on their mandate.
