Senior Pastor of House on the Rock Church, Paul Adefarasin, has been granted bail by the Lagos State Police Command after voluntarily presenting himself for interrogation.
This follows a viral video in which Adefarasin was seen wielding a gun-like object during an altercation with another road user.
According to police spokesperson CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, the object was confirmed to be a stun gun, not a lethal firearm. He stated, “The item is a prohibited anti-riot device, not a firearm.”
Adefarasin provided a cautionary statement during questioning and was released on bail as investigations continue.
