DELTA: The Agbarho community in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State descended into turmoil following a violent clash between rival cult groups, Eiye and Maphite, reportedly sparked by a dispute over the ownership of a phone charger.
Eyewitnesses revealed that the altercation began after an argument escalated, leading one group to attack a member of the other.
In retaliation, a violent confrontation erupted, leaving several people injured, including one individual who reportedly sustained gunshot wounds.Speaking anonymously, a source from the community said, “It’s shocking that something as minor as a phone charger could result in this level of violence. One group attacked first, and the other retaliated. Now, the entire community is in fear.
