Amidst poor funding for Higher institutions in Nigeria,the Tertiary Education Trust Fund, has been engulfed in misappropriation controversy.
This followed allegations that the party has been bankrolling the daily operations of the All Progressives Congress APC in Adamawa state to the tune of N325million.
According to a petition against the party by Adamawa State APC women leader, Mrs Patricia Yakubu, to the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, whom she refered to as “our leader in Adamawa State APC” where she confirmed that TETFUND sent monies to the party in the state but it was embezzled by some party leaders.
Per report on Sahara Reporters, it was learnt that money from the education fund came monthly to the APC state committee in payment of N25,000,000 from October 2023 to October 2024.
