A breakdown of the Federal Government’s 2025 proposed budget for Security and Defense.
According to BudgIT,Out of the total budget of N6.57tn, N4.01tn will be used for personnel costs, N1.42tn as overhead, N638.34bn for service wide votes, and N488.15bn for capital projects.
Allocations for outfits include: Defence: N2.92 trillion Ministry of Police Affairs: N1.28tn Interior (Immigration and civil defence): N1.13tn National Security Adviser: N595.02bn Police Service Commission: N2.56bn
