In a move to sanitize the education sector,engender transparency and accountability the Delta state government has dismissed five primary school head teachers over allegations of corruption.
The head teachers were allegedly implicated in the collection of unapproved levies from candidates for the 2025 cognitive and placement examination in addition to other financial misnomer.
The sacking of the five teachers followed a thorough investigation by the state ministry of basic and secondary education.
