DELTA: Women entrepreneurs in Warri and beyond are set to benefit from a strategic engagement aimed at strengthening their businesses and expanding their opportunities.
The Royal Iwere Foundation, in partnership with the Elevate Africa Fellowship, is organizing the Women Allying Women: EstablishHer Enterprise Fund Townhall to empower women with access to funding, mentorship, and networks for growth.
Scheduled for Thursday, March 27, 2025, at the Palace of the Olu of Warri, the event will bring together industry leaders, financial experts, and successful female entrepreneurs to discuss leadership, financial inclusion, and business sustainability.
It will also feature a pitch session where selected women will showcase their enterprises to potential investors.
Speaking on the initiative, a representative of the Royal Iwere Foundation emphasized the importance of supporting women-led businesses.
He said, “This townhall is not just about discussions; it’s about action. We want to ensure that women have the financial and social capital they need to scale their businesses,” the Royal Iwere representative stated.
An Elevate Africa Fellowship official also highlighted the impact of the program, saying, “Women are key drivers of economic transformation. By equipping them with resources and strategic partnerships, we are fostering inclusive growth that benefits entire communities.”
With a focus on enterprise development and innovation, the gathering aims to inspire a new wave of female entrepreneurs determined to make a lasting impact in their respective industries.
